I’ve contacted dave asprey. i’m here from the states and this is not the same as my bulletproof coffee in the states! now it says decaf too?
Answer: Sorry, I can't answer this as I brought this as a gift for someone who uses it as part of their regime. Though I thought the whole idea was that it’s the caffeine that makes it work, but I am probably wrong about that. -

I need to grind it myself??
Answer: Yes, that's what 'whole bean' means. Coffee grinders can be bought for less than £10. When you grind it yourself it's extremely fresh. I would highly recommend this method. -

Are these beans light or dark roast? ie are they the yucky really dark shinny beans or the nice lightly colored type? Thanks
Answer: I have only tried these once so can't recall exactly! However, I'm a 'yucky, dark' roast kinda girl so that's maybe what they were! I was trying them due to the hype behind them which sadly didn't deliver! -

Is this instant, or will I need a coffee machine?
Answer: Not Instant - it's 'whole beans', which need to be ground, and then depending on how fine you grind it, you need either a French Press/Cafetière or a Filter, with Filter Papers, or an Espresso machine. Having the whole beans means that you have the choice of how to brew.
