- The Griffin Double Kick Drum Pedal is one of the most heavy-duty double kick pedals sold today. The top-quality double chain action provides for some of the smoothest drum action any drummer could hope for with their bass double pedal. Featuring four-way (aka quad) beaters, this are made entirely of metal, with the pedal and frame being made of heavy duty cast steel. This double pedal for a bass drum is not only sold with a drum key, but offers so many other quality features. These double kick drum pedals boast a triple spring adjustment ability for the ultimate constant tension control, a friction-less bearing hinge for smooth pedal action, double spine weighted pedal plates for a sturdy flat-footed kick, and beater shaft locks to ensure the beater stays in the correct position at all times. Having a fully adjustable power cam system accelerates the beater speed, and the double cam plates enhance the life of the pedal as well as provide an intensely solid feel while the double kick drum pedal also sports a double locking spring tension rod that assures your personal tension settings never change while playing. The foot stops help prevent unwanted slippage. And, let’s not forget that these bass drum kick pedals include force locking bass drum clamps to help keep the pedal connected to the bass drum at all times.
