    Answer: These are whole poppy seeds.
  • Question: Is it non-irradiated?

    Answer: Yes, it is certified as non-irradiated.
  • Question: Is it kosher?

    Answer: Yes, it is Kosher certified.
  • Question: Are these washed?

    Answer: It states Nutty Flavor and aroma. How is it that it tastes like Black Pepper ? If these are washed, how are they washed ?
  • Question: Have these been treated, or are they still raw?

    Answer: The poppy seeds are all organic and they aren't treated in any way.
  • Question: Can I grow poppies with these seeds?

    Answer: I believe they're washed so I don't think they'll sprout. Not 100% sure though as I just use mine in cooking and baking.
  • Question: Are these black or a whitish color?

    Answer: Black
  • Question: Are the seeds viable for planting?

    Answer: No
  • Question: Can these be germinated?

    Answer: Poppy seeds REQUIRE LIGHT to germinate and you need to just sprinkle a decent layer on top of very wet soil under a good full spectrum led light. Then cover them with something clear to keep the moisture in. It will look like mold forming on them but it isn't. It's how they root themselves. They are the start of tiny tap roots. Be patient. Poppies can take bit of time germinating.
  • Question: I would like to hear directly from the seller! Are these seeds washed or not?

    Answer: I'm not the seller but I can attest to the fact that these are extremely overwashed. Complete waste of money.

    Answer: No

    Answer: Extremely overwashed.
