The Meike Metal Lens Adapter EF-EOSR is a popular converter for Canon EF and EF-S lenses to be used with EOS R series mirrorless cameras and other compatible cameras. It appears that some customers have had some difficulty attaching and/or detaching their lenses from the mount, with some experiencing the lock switch not working after a few weeks.
