Answer: Yes, this will work with the 209x45 as well as the 209x50. -

Answer: The M209 can shoot either loose black powder or pyrodex pellets, and this is the breech plug for the 209 with shotgun primer. -
Question:
Hi, my current Omega when I go to take the caps out, they come out snug and before it used to just fall out. Will this new breech plug give me that?
Answer: Yes, I had the same problem and it was solved with a new breech plug. Before you buy a new breech plug, ensure that the hole that you insert the 209 primer cap is thoroughly clean. Soak the breech plug in a cleaning solution first then use a small wire brush to assist in cleaning the hole out. If that does not solve the problem, then a new breech plug will.
