JET Parallel Clamp Framing Kit (70411)

The JET 70411 Parallel Clamp Framing Kit offers a quality set of clamps that work well on both large and small clamping jobs. These clamps are Considered to be the most solid parallel clamps made, with etched numbers on the bar that help with setting up a glue up. It is important to note that the release lever is for sliding the jaw and it is not a quick release mechanism. While the clamps themselves are highly praised for their performance, there are concerns about the packaging. Some customers have received the clamps in poor condition, with torn boxes and missing or damaged parts. There is a need for improvement in the packaging to ensure that the clamps arrive in good condition. Despite the packaging issues, the JET Parallel Clamps have received positive reviews overall. Customers are pleased with the clamps' performance and durability, especially in achieving flat and precise joints. The clamps are also preferred over other brands due to the small locking handle and the inclusion of corner modules for making box forms. However, there have been a few instances of defective clamps, with stripped or non-functioning threaded pieces. This raises concerns about the overall quality and reliability of the clamps, particularly in the long term. In conclusion, the JET 70411 Parallel Clamp Framing Kit is Considered a high-quality tool, but it comes at a premium price. The clamps are praised for their solid Construction and functionality, but there are concerns about the packaging and occasional reports of defective clamps.
