Hohner Harmonicas 560PBX-G Editorial Review
The Hohner Special 20 in the Key of G has garnered mixed reviews from customers, reflecting a range of experiences with the product’s performance and build quality. Many users have noted a significant improvement in playability compared to standard harmonicas, citing the Special 20’s ease of blowing and responsive design as standout features. One reviewer specifically emphasized the difference in performance when transitioning from a standard version, stating that they would replace their other harmonicas after experiencing the Special 20's capabilities. The clearer stenciled numbers also received praise, as they make it easier for musicians to play without fumbling. However, there are some concerns regarding the product's durability and assembly quality. Some users have encountered issues with the harmonica's reeds sticking or areas where certain notes do not respond, which detracts from the overall experience. One reviewer expressed frustration after just a few weeks of use, reporting that critical notes stopped working despite being careful with the instrument. Additionally, comparisons to vintage Hohner models suggest a decline in quality, as older harmonicas are still praised for their longevity and sound quality. Overall, while the Hohner Special 20 offers a great playing experience for beginners and experienced players alike, its durability raises concerns for some users. **
