Made of high-quality carbon steel with a comfortable wood handle, the knife is a full tang Construction that is built to last in the field. It has an excellent price to quality ratio, and customers have praised its ruggedness, comfort, and edge retention. The knife comes paper-sharp and includes a really nice leather sheath, making it easy to carry on your belt or pack. However, it's not ideal for food prep due to its full flat grind. Some customers have noted that it's moderately challenging to sharpen, but edge retention is exceptional and well balanced compared to the effort to sharpen.
