Question:
Does the Eva Foam come in longer lengths?
Answer: Not sure about the length but it didn’t last a full season. I used alcohol as directed for cleaning all the surfaces on an unused brand new boat. The adhesive that comes on this stuff is not good. It is all peeling up. I recommend spending the extra money to get the name brand higher quality material. It’ll be cheaper in the long run. -
Question:
Does it have 3M glue?
Answer: The glue is adequate. Not sure if it’s 3M. However the material fades really quickly. In less than a month it began fade rapidly. You could see the color washing off when rinsing with plain water and a regular water hose. -
Question:
Any reason this couldn't be used on a kayak deck?
Answer: I used it on our 260 Searay boat. It was easy to install. On the swim deck I put an extra layer of adhesive because it was by the water. Mine has been in for a season know and looks like it did when I installed it. Oh yea and none of it has peeled up. Great product -
Question:
How long will this product last? I have seen that some products only last 3-5 years.
Answer: I have only had this for a few months so I really dont know. The material seems to be of good quality. Deffinetly use a razor to cut it. -
Question:
Will it stick to wood?
Answer: I don’t think it sticks to anything. It didn’t stick to my kayak. -
Question:
Can it be used inside a cabin?
Answer: I removed the carpet in my boat and put the foam in much easier to keep clean and you don’t have to worry about it getting wet. -
Question:
Does it have 3M glue?
Answer: No....I would reccomend a better spray adhesive... especially if in the south
