Answer: You can record to SD card and also use rtsp to connect with homeassistant, but it is not sure about NAS support. -

Answer: The camera is cable connected. It can be connected through PoE Ethernet cable to a PoE Ethernet switch connected to Wi-Fi router. -

What are the exact power requirements for the camera?

What happened to the Amcrest Black POE dome camera? Has it been discontinued? The white version clashes with my decor.

Answer: No, but if using Blue Iris, it has built-in AI engine that can process the feed as such. -

The camera I ordered isn’t the same as the one that came to the house, what’s the difference in the cameras with the same model numbers but different?
Answer: If it has two eyes (circles), those are the older models of 4k while the rectangular eye one is the newer model/design. Check out Amcrest's website for both models. -

Answer: Multiple factors go into identifying someone at 50 feet, such as the camera height, angle of recording, and person's height. It is recommended to use multiple cameras of coverage approach and make sure the individual is seen by at least 2+ cameras at a time. The cameras have built-in zoom capability.
