Answer: D rings are made of 316 grade stainless steel and all edges of shade sail are double stitched. -

Answer: Hello, this one is not waterproof, but we have water-resistant shade sails, B06Y28WSWT, B06Y1XQ4K7. Hope this will be helpful. -

How can this be anchored or hooked to vinyl siding? Do the anchors need to be drilled or non-drill anchor work?
Answer: Upon checking, we do not suggest this shade sail to be anchored to vinyl siding, When the vinyl gets cold enough, any impact against it will cause it to fracture or crack. And this sail needs to be drilled. We suggest you set this shade sail on another surface like a wall or wood. -

Is the free hardware adequate?
Answer: The free hardware kit includes: Turnbuckle x 2pcs, Pad eye x 4pcs, Snap Hookx 2pcs, Screw x 16pcs, Plastic expansion x 16pcs. Hope this will be helpful. -
Question:
Is installation permanent or can it be portable?
Answer: The installation is more to be permanent as the pad eye needs to be nailed into the wall or wooden surface, then you can hang the sail via turnbuckles or snap hooks. If you want to move the sail to other places, you can reach us for an extra set of hardware kit for your new installation place.
