The TAC NWO Folding Knife is a sturdy, heavy duty knife with a thick blade that comes very sharp out of the box. Despite claims that the steel is S35VN, testing has confirmed that it is actually 7Cr17MoV. The handle is a bit bulky and heavy, but the knife performs well for its price point and is worth the cost. Some users have experienced grittiness when opening and closing the knife, but this can be resolved with some use. The knife is not recommended for deployment and heavy duty chores are recommended instead. While it can fit some Spyderco Native 5 scales, it is not recommended due to differences in design that could potentially damage the knife.
