Modern Witchcraft Spellbook

The “Modern Witchcraft Spellbook” by Anna Riva has garnered a mixed reception among readers, showcasing both appreciation for its practical content and criticism regarding its depth and utility for more experienced practitioners. Those delving into the world of spells and witchcraft often highlight Riva’s authority in the subject, noting that her works generally offer invaluable insights into herbs, oils, and spells. Many customers express enthusiasm over the effective spells presented in the book and praise the useful herb lists included at the end. However, some customers have also voiced disappointment, feeling that the book lacks the depth expected from Riva's previous works and that its content is somewhat random. While some appreciate the book's collection of folklore and spells rooted in hoodoo and folk magic, others argue it fails to meet the ceremonial magic standards they anticipated. Additionally, there is a sentiment that as readers become more seasoned in their practice, the book tends to hold less value, becoming more of a nostalgic item rather than a primary resource. Nonetheless, for beginners, the spells—especially those pertaining to Prosperity and love rituals—are Considered effective and easy to follow, making the book both a useful introduction to witchcraft and an affordable option for those exploring the practice. **
