use of eero 6e as an extender?
Answer: eero 6e isn’t designed to be an extender for an existing Wi-Fi mesh or other network. If you already have an eero hub, you can add add’l satellites to extend the eero mesh coverage. -

What ethernet cat cable does it support
Answer: CAT 8 for best speed and bandwidth. Works well with CAT 5e (which limits the speed). I am using CAT 7. -

How can i hide the ssid of my network so my neighbors dont see it?
Answer: On most routers, there’s an option for not broadcasting the network SSID, but on the eero’s there isn’t an option for that. What I strongly recommend is that you change your password & enable WPA3 on the eero. To do that, go to discover on the eero and toggle the WPA3 option so that it’s on. -

Is there an app that can show eero Pro 6E mesh coverage for different placements?
Answer: No, there isn’t an app specifically for eero Pro 6e. The app is for all eero devices. I would place any WiFi in an obstructed area & at least 6-8 feet high, depending on ceiling height. -

Would this work with a starlink provider?
Answer: Yes, I had starlink initially with this router and it worked very well and actually improved my speeds. You will need the starlink Ethernet adaptor, and you can order that from starlink. -

Will this connect to a cellular mifi in the event your internet goes down?
Answer: Sorry, this doesn’t answer your question. To be completely honest with you, I would not buy the eero wifi product. It was ok until I talked with the eero CS, they told me 4 wifi connection points was too much for the size of my house. I ended up using 3 until we got fiber run to our house. We upgraded to the eero 6e pro and we are completely… Everything streaming and we have a lot of buffering happening which after talking with eero CS. That it’s isn’t there device which seems so frustrating. I just want it to work and work correctly. -

There isn't an option to hide the network SSID, but you can change the password and enable WPA3 for added security. There is no app specifically for the eero Pro 6E mesh coverage, but you can place the Wi-Fi in an obstructed area and at least 6-8 feet high depending on ceiling height. Overall, the Certified Refurbished Amazon eero Pro 6E mesh Wi-Fi router is an excellent choice for anyone who values fast and reliable Wi-Fi coverage.
