Notch Accessories Editorial Review
The Notch Compact Dual Wedge (99378) garners a mixed reception from users, who recognize its innovative design and utility but also express caution regarding its limitations. Many appreciate the compactness and interlocking mechanism that allows the two wedges to be joined for convenience, making it easy to carry on equipment without adding much bulk. Reviewers highlight the ergonomic shape, which aids in driving the wedges in without excessive physical strain. However, expectations for performance, particularly in felling trees or handling larger trunks, fall short for some users. Many describe this tool as more suitable for lighter jobs, such as preventing pinching of saw bars, rather than for comprehensive tree felling tasks. Concerns arise regarding the durability of the locking mechanism, with several users advising that excessive use while attached may lead to potential breakage. Some find the absence of clear usage instructions a barrier, especially for less experienced users. Overall, while the Notch Compact Dual Wedge is lauded for its design and practicality in specific situations, it is seen as a supplementary tool that may not fully substitute for traditional, larger equipment. **
