- Colorful flowers in yellow, red, orange, blue, purple and white.
- Grow in full sun to partial shade and in moist, well-drained soil. Pansies can be grown as annuals, biennials or perennials depending on the climate.
- Non-GMO seeds; Easy to grow, requires little maintenance
- Swiss Giant pansies grow as biennials in USDA zones 5 - 9 reaching heights of 6 - 8 inches.
- When plant outdoor, sow in late fall or early spring. Even though the seeds are tiny, they need to be sown 5mm (¼”) deep. Keep the soil at 18-25°C (65-75°F). The seeds need to be kept in complete darkness until they germinate in around 14 days. Then provide bright light to keep plants compact. Space at 15-23cm (6-9″) in the garden. Water regularly until established, deadhead to encourage more flowers, add mulch to keep the soil cool.
