Erva Feeder Accessories SB6 Editorial Review
The Erva SB6 Pole Mount Disk Baffle is a circular metal baffle with a narrow pie-shaped removeable piece that snaps together to form a shallow cone shape. It comes with a two-piece clamp assembly for pole mounting or can be purchased for a hook-mount from above. The baffle is effective in keeping squirrels off bird feeders and is well made and of good quality, although more expensive than some other options. The diameter of the baffle is too large for squirrels to reach around and is effective in deterring them from reaching the feeder. The pie-shaped opening may need modification to prevent squirrels from squeezing through it. The baffle fits Shepherd hooks and pole diameters mentioned in the product description. It is easy to install, although the latch can be challenging to snap together. The product is rust-resistant, with some customers reporting that the powder coat finish can wear off over time.
