### Samlex SCC-30AB Charge Controller The Samlex SCC-30AB Charge Controller has garnered mixed to positive reviews from users who primarily utilize it for solar energy systems in mobile applications such as travel trailers. Many users highlight the product's admirable performance and reliability, noting that it effectively manages substantial power loads—from a setup with three 250W solar panels—while enduring high operating temperatures, particularly in hotter climates. The PWM technology utilized in this controller is praised, as it aligns well with the needs of mobile setups. Customers are overall satisfied with the functionality and ease of operation, especially after customizing settings to match their specific battery types. However, feedback also points out several critical issues, particularly regarding the product's design and usability. A number of users experienced problems with the provided mounting template, which did not match the actual dimensions of the controller, leading to installation frustrations. Some reviews mention product inConsistencies, where the appearance of the delivered item differed from the advertised image, particularly concerning button styles and overall aesthetic. This resulted in dissatisfaction for customers who expected a precise match with the online representation. Additionally, some users reported interference issues with their radio and television systems during operation, which required extra purchases for noise filters. Others faced difficulties with technical functionality, including concerns about voltage settings that affected inverter operations, causing unwarranted shutdowns. Customer support has received both praise for its responsiveness and criticism, as some users have encountered issues with returns and refunds that contributed to a negative experience overall.
