Customers seem to have difficulties setting the gauge up correctly, and the instructions included in the package appear to be poorly written. One customer reports that they had to fight to get the gauge working but was successful in getting the tachometer working correctly. However, the customer had a Diesel engine and found that the frequency of the cam drive was too low to get the tach to read anything. Another customer was disappointed as the gauge would not function no matter what setting was tried, and others have reported that the gauge doesn't stay on, flickers on and off, and is always trying to find a GPS signal. As a result, customers are recommending not to waste money on this product and instead to spend a few more bucks and get a name brand that works.
