LEZYNE LED qPRO Mount Compatible with GoPro

The LEZYNE LED qPRO LightMount for GoPro has garnered a mixed reception from customers, primarily revolving around its design and functionality. While it's praised for its ease of use—particularly with quick attachments for lights—it suffers from significant engineering flaws that have left many users frustrated. One of the main complaints is about the painted clamps, which lack sufficient friction when attached to aluminum surfaces, leading to concerns about stability and security. Users have found that modifications, such as sanding the paint off, are necessary to achieve a proper grip. This subpar design detracts from the otherwise strong reputation of LEZYNE lights, with some users expressing disappointment that they wouldn't have purchased them had they known about the mount's issues. Another recurring theme is the need for ingenuity to make the mount work effectively. Some customers have found that a little adjustment can help mitigate wobbling and rattle, but the requirement for additional tinkering suggests that the product is not fully user-friendly. Additionally, there are frustrations regarding the necessity of purchasing separate components for a complete mounting solution, leading to a more expensive overall investment. Users also pointed out that the tilt of the light can inadvertently direct it at oncoming traffic, which could pose safety risks. The lack of installation instructions and missing hardware like bolts further compounds user dissatisfaction. In summary, while the LEZYNE LED qPRO LightMount offers a practical solution for mounting lights on bikes equipped with GoPro mounts, its design flaws and high cost of entry may deter potential buyers. **
