Bosmere Garden Soil F489 Editorial Review
The Bosmere F489 Compressed Coco Brick offers convenient and easy-to-use coco coir for gardening purposes. The brick allows users to cut or break off the desired amount while the rest remains compressed and stowable. When water is added, the coir decompresses and creates an excellent medium for starting seeds and promoting growth. Many users express satisfaction with the performance of the product, noting that it worked well for seed germination and mixing with soil. They found the coir to be light and fluffy without forming a crust on the soil surface after watering. The seller also receives praise for being communicative and responsive to customer inquiries. However, there are a few drawbacks to Consider. Some users report a musty odor emanating from the coir, although it did not have any adverse effects on seedlings. Additionally, there were occasional issues with the quality of the brick, such as the presence of rocks and twigs. It should also be noted that some users experienced problems with the expansion time and needed to rinse the coir multiple times to reduce salinity levels. Others discovered bug larvae in the coir, which led to an increase in the number of gnats in the substrate. In conclusion, the Bosmere F489 Compressed Coco Brick offers convenience and performance for gardening applications. While it may have some odor and quality issues, overall, it proves to be a reliable medium for starting seeds and promoting plant growth.
