The Rinnai RU130eP is a highly efficient and reliable condensing tankless hot water heater with a 7 GPM capacity for outdoor installation in propane gas homes. The unit does produce some condensate, which is mildly acidic and must be safely disposed of. The unit comes with a vent plastic grate for indoor air venting, but outdoor fresh air intake is recommended when possible. The RU199in is the quietest version of the 199,000 BTU tankless heater available. The GTK03 Grundfos kit is the recommended recirculation pump. The unit comes with a pair of isolator valves, and the relief valve but does not include any venting material or pipe fittings. The Rinnai RU130eP is well reviewed and generally praised for its ability to ensure a steady supply of hot water without running out. However, the unit may take several gallons of cold water to run out of faucets before delivering any hot water, and the fan produces a low frequency noise that is heard throughout the house. A professional plumber is recommended for installation.
