Answer: Our Nordic Pocket Saw has bi-directional teeth on each link, providing faster cutting compared to competitors. The handles are made of nylon for strength and durability. The saws are designed with large handles for easy use with thicker gloves. Our case is made of strong canvas fabric. We have tested our saws extensively for quality and durability. -

Answer: Since it is a chainsaw chain, rusting is a possibility if not properly maintained. We recommend dipping it in a lightweight oil before storage and wrapping it in a cloth to prevent rust. -

Answer: Yes, the chain is a standard 3/8" and we recommend using a 4mm sharpener for it.

The Nordic Pocket Saw Pocket Chainsaw is a durable and efficient manual chainsaw suitable for camping, bushcraft, and survival situations. It is available in two lengths, 25.6 or 36 inches, and comes with a nylon case for easy storage and transportation. While the product can cut through small branches up to 3 inches in diameter, it is not recommended for trimming overhead limbs or high limb situations. However, Nordic Pocket Saw will be restocking their arborist version soon for these purposes. The chainsaw is developed in Sweden and produced in China, and it does not come with a sharpening tool, but Nordic Pocket Saw advises customers to use a 5/32 inch (4 mm) round file to sharpen the teeth. Overall, customers have found the Nordic Pocket Saw to be of higher quality than other pocket saws, with reinforced handles and alternate direction teeth on the chain. It is effortless to use, and many customers have found it to be a useful addition to their camping or survival gear.
