Review of PID REX-C100 Temperature Controller set SSR 40DA K Thermocouple Heat Sink BS40: The PID REX-C100 Temperature Controller comes with a few issues that make it a frustrating experience for buyers. With the original description suggesting it will run from 24 VDC, it does not, and buyers have to order it as an option. Additionally, it only works with 115V as a minimum, and a strange screen message appears below 110V; however, that's only a minor annoyance. The readings from the K thermocouple are also incorrect, indicating a temperature that's too low by 20%, and the controller is not matched. Furthermore, buyers have to find the documentation and manuals in English online, and there's only a one-page sheet of Chinese instructions that come with it. On the positive side, the product is easy to set up, and people can update old BlueM ovens with it. However, the instructions are confusing, particularly the setup menu that people can't toggle from Fahrenheit to Celsius. They have to purchase it as a 220V unit only.
